A POST WORLD WAR II REVOLUTION OF NIGHTCLUBS IN EUROPE!!!
TIME PERIOD: 1947-
- Moving forward from the Juke box, a club founded by Régine Zylberberg, known as the "Whisky à Gogo", replaced the Juke box, with the use of two turntables (of which she had DJ'd).
TIME PERIOD: Late 1950's
- London's SOHO district introduced, the ever famous Les Enfants Terribles,  The club catered to the young public (mainly made up of illegal french and itallian workers). Though not a standard nighclub of the time (for they did not card), was still a happening spot!
TIME PERIOD: Early 1960's
- British entrepreneur, Mark Birley, founded a member's only discotheque (nightclub), called Annabel's, located, as well in London.
